History of Lammerts Cranehire & Transport BV

Lammerts crane hire BV from doetinchem was established in 1972 by Martin Lammerts.He bought his first crane from “the gelderse tram wegen”: a 6- tons Gottwald with lattice boom. Lammerts  proved in short time that there was a great need for cranes in the east of the netherlands. Already in 1975 he increased to 5 cranes with capacities from 10 to 55 tons. The business location at the Terborgscheweg was in short time not big enough. For this reason he bought a piece of land at the Havenstraat in Doetinchem ( industrial area “Verheulsweide”). At this location he build a workshop, a garage and an office. From this location the company expanded. In 1983 Martin Lammerts Transport was established and a Daf truck with trailer was added to the fleet.
 
The last decenium the Lammerts groep has developed to a specialist in ( heavy ) horizontal and vertical transport with an accent at cran hire to building, industrial and logistic company`s. The crane hire department has at this moment several locations: Zutphen, Duiven, Groenlo and ofcourse Doetinchem. The current fleet consists 13 cranes ( telescopic cranes till 225 tons and tower cranes till 60 mtr ), 2 trucks with loader crane  ( 110- and 150 ton/meter ), 2 tele handlers, 11 truck- trailer combinations and 4 forklifts till 13 tons. At the Lammerts Groep we have 28 experienced employees who have all the necessary skills and diploma`s
